HK690 Narrow-Edge Banding Machine Overview

The HK690 is presented for factories evaluating edge banding of narrow line-workpieces, including applications where standard panel-support methods may not suit the workpiece. Application Focus

The evaluation focus is narrow line-workpieces around the 2 cm application direction. Suitability still depends on the actual workpiece profile, material, edge tape, adhesive process, finish requirement, and production target. Send representative samples before selecting a configuration.

Configuration Points to Evaluate

  • Pre-milling: confirm the intended preparation process against the actual workpiece.
  • Tracking: verify the required tracking result through a sample run.
  • Workpiece support: check feeding stability, alignment, and repeatability with production-size samples.
  • Process compatibility: confirm edge tape, adhesive, material, finish, and upstream or downstream workflow.

These are evaluation points, not a promise of performance for every workpiece.

Recommended Sample-Test Process

  1. Provide workpiece photos and drawings with dimensions.
  2. Identify the substrate, surface, edge tape, and intended adhesive process.
  3. State the target finish, daily production requirement, and available factory space.
  4. Arrange a sample evaluation using representative production workpieces.
  5. Confirm the final machine specification and quotation only after the sample review.

  • Does the sample match the narrow line-workpiece used in daily production?
  • Are feeding stability and finished-edge quality repeatable across multiple pieces?
  • Are voltage, layout, dust extraction, and operator requirements confirmed?
